Brutal Elegance

Location: Lviv, Avalon Yard residential complex

The task: to create a comfortable, ergonomic and at the same time stylish space that is as convenient as possible for people with limited mobility. All solutions had to take into account ease of movement and accessibility, functionality – while maintaining modern aesthetics and rental potential.

The result: We designed an interior that is as functional as possible for people with limited mobility, looks laconic and modern. All areas – from the kitchen to the bathroom – are adapted for easy movement, with well-thought-out passages, ergonomically placed elements and hidden solutions that preserve the integrity of the space. The kitchen-living room is characterised by clear symmetry, logic and the absence of excess: a sliding island replaces the table, while hidden doors and built-in wardrobes keep the lines clean. The bedroom supports this idea, with a convenient wardrobe, a workplace by the window and a smooth transition from dark to light, which creates a sense of depth.

The children’s room combines comfort and play with built-in shelves, textured facades and a window area for studying and relaxing. The bathrooms are designed to be easy to move around, with all elements located on one side, without thresholds, with visually expanded space thanks to mirrors and multi-level light. The hallway features functional, integrated solutions: cabinets without plinths with underfloor heating for drying shoes, and a narrow space visually expanded by mirrors.

Everything in this apartment works for calmness, accessibility and logic – no frills, but with an emphasis on every detail. This is a space that is equally comfortable for everyday life, short-term stays or rentals – and yet has character.
