Bathroom 2024: Trends and secrets of furnishing
The year 2024 has already brought with it a number of interesting trends in bathroom design that combine not only the aesthetic aspect, but also practicality and innovative solutions. In this article, we will look at the hottest trends and secrets of bathroom design for 2024 that will help you create a modern and functional space.
Bathroom design trends for 2024
- Eco-friendly materials
Due to the ever-growing environmental awareness, bathroom design in 2024 will actively use environmentally friendly materials. For example, products made of wood and other natural materials are becoming more and more popular in bathroom design.
2. Minimalist design
The minimalist style continues to be popular in bathroom design. Simple lines, smooth surfaces and a minimum number of decorative elements create a sense of space and cleanliness.
3. Individual approach
Each bathroom becomes an expression of the owners’ personal style. An individual approach includes the choice of unique accessories, colour scheme and arrangement of elements that meet the needs and preferences of the owners.
4. Technological innovations
In 2024, technological innovations are entering the design of bathrooms with new features. For example, smart sanitary ware with automatic cleaning and smartphone control functions is becoming increasingly popular.
5. Hidden elements in the interior
In the context of modern interiors, concealed elements are increasingly being favoured to create an efficient and aesthetically pleasing environment. From cooker hoods to toilet buttons, concealed elements are becoming not only convenient but also aesthetically pleasing interior additions.
- Traditional range hoods can be inconvenient to install and can disturb the harmony of the kitchen interior. However, concealed hoods that are integrated into the top of kitchen cabinets or ceilings allow them to be hidden from view while maintaining their functionality. This creates a clean and airy kitchen without compromising the design.
- Traditional toilet flush buttons can be large and unattractive, out of keeping with the overall bathroom design. Instead, toilet buttons can be built into the wall or furniture, or even have touch controls, adding a modern and convenient touch to the interior.
- Electrical sockets are often not only functional but also clumsy interior elements. Instead of placing them on the walls or floor, they can be built directly into furniture or walls. This allows you to keep the lines of the room clean and avoid unnecessary clutter.
- Built-in cabinets and hidden doors are another way to ensure harmony and cleanliness in the interior. The ability to hide cabinets behind walls or build them into unexpected places allows you to maintain a sense of openness and space in the room.
- Built-in lamps and hidden lighting systems allow you to create a “soft light” effect that adds cosiness and atmosphere to the interior without disturbing the harmony of its design.
The secrets of bathroom design in 2024
- Optimal use of space
Regardless of the size of the bathroom, it is important to maximise the use of space. Compact plumbing fixtures, built-in cabinets and shelves will help save space and make the room more functional.
2. Bold colour schemes
In 2024, bold colour schemes are becoming increasingly popular in bathroom design. Bold shades and unexpected colour combinations add expressiveness and personality to your bathroom.
3. Functionality and convenience
Do not forget about functionality and convenience when arranging a bathroom. All elements should be conveniently located and meet the needs of users, providing comfort and convenience in everyday use.
4. Backlighting and lighting
Proper lighting plays an important role in creating the atmosphere in the bathroom. The choice of different light sources and spotlights will help create a cosy and functional space.
In 2024, bathroom design is becoming more innovative, environmentally friendly and individual. New technologies, aesthetic solutions and practicality combine to create a modern and comfortable space. Give preference to functionality, aesthetics and convenience when choosing the design of your ideal bathroom.
More about the project
A riot of colour in this incredibly sophisticated bathroom. For this project, we chose an extremely deep, exquisite burgundy colour and an unusual mirror shape.
What is the main idea of the design?
The walls divided the space horizontally. The bottom is a homogeneous stone-like tile, the top is painted burgundy. Among the accents are porcelain stoneware in the shower with active beautiful stains! The interior is complemented by a lot of beautiful lighting.
Interiors should be beautiful, as if they were works of art!
