Interesting décor that adds personality: small accents with big character
When details speak louder than words
Decor is the language your home speaks. It conveys mood, character and lifestyle. It is the small accents that shape the atmosphere, making a space lively, personal and irreplaceable.
1. Art objects as the heart of the interior
Paintings, posters and graphics are not just wall fillers. They are the centre of the composition, an emotional accent and a manifestation of individuality. Abstraction adds energy, photography calms, and the work of young artists brings modern dynamism. One well-chosen art object can set the tone for the entire room.
2. Textiles: tactile charm
Textiles are the easiest way to create depth and warmth. Pillows of different textures, blankets, handmade rugs — all of this makes the interior more human and ‘tangible.’ Wool, bouclé, linen, and cotton create layers that visually enrich the space and make it cosier.
3. Decor with history: things that matter
Items with a past are especially valuable: brought back from travels, found at flea markets, received as gifts. Such objects add depth to the interior, making it unique and emotionally rich. This is the easiest way to create an atmosphere of ‘authenticity.’
4. Small but expressive accents
Unusual vases, handmade ceramics, decorative plates, candles, designer figurines — these are the little things that work as the artist’s finishing touches. They can be minimalist or bold, but they always add character.
5. Mirrors as a decorative tool
Mirrors not only expand space and add light, they often become independent art objects. Vintage, metal or wooden frames create a stylistic accent and add depth to the interior.
Decor as a personal story
When creating an interior, it is important to ask yourself: does this item have meaning? Does it reflect me? It is conscious choices that make a space not just beautiful, but personal. A home filled with such accents tells the story of its owners every day — sincerely, naturally and individually.
More about the project
This interior is about lightness and inspiration. The young couple wanted a space where they could create, work and gather friends without feeling cramped. We combined the kitchen and living room into a single area — without excess, but with accents that you want to look at. Every detail here has character, and the space exudes calm and freedom. We combined the bathrooms but isolated the bedrooms to leave room for both shared and personal space.
