How to furnish a one-room apartment: ideas and solutions
A one-room apartment is not a sentence for those who dream of a functional and stylish interior. It can be an example of the perfect balance between aesthetics and practicality if you approach its arrangement with creativity and taking into account modern design trends. Let’s take a look at the key solutions for creating a cosy space even in a small apartment.
Space zoning: living room and bedroom in one room
Often in one-room apartments, the question arises: how to arrange both a bedroom and a living room in one room, especially if there is only one window? In this project, our designers found the best solution. We created a living room area, separating it with a light-transmitting wall. This approach allowed us to fill the space with natural light and visually add lightness.
1. Stylish bedroom with a glass partition
A small bedroom can become not only a place to relax, but also a real highlight of the interior. In this project, the main focus is on the area behind the headboard. We used a deep green colour that forms a stylish composition together with wall lamps and a glass partition. This approach adds character to the room without overwhelming it.
A glass partition is an ideal solution for preserving space and creating privacy. It allows you to visually separate zones while keeping the room bright and open. Every detail in this project is thought out for maximum comfort: from the choice of materials to the arrangement of furniture.
2. Bathroom design: emphasis on detail
The bathroom in small apartments is often overlooked, but our designers believe that every square metre should be special. In this project, the deep green colour became a bold accent. We integrated it behind the mirror and in the niches of the shower area. To create a harmonious background, we used a grey shade of concrete-like tiles, and black elements added completeness to the image.
The lighting and decorative floor with ornaments deserve special attention. The lighting creates a mood and adds cosiness to the space, while the ornament emphasises the individuality of the interior. The matte faucets we chose for this project are not only stylish but also practical to maintain.
Key principles of successful one-room apartment design
- Light and airiness. Use light-transmitting materials to make the most of natural light. Glass partitions, mirrors, and open floor plans are the perfect choice.
- Functionality. Every element of the interior should be thoughtful and multifunctional. For example, a bed with storage space or a table that transforms.
- Accents and harmony. The main accent, such as green colour or decorative tiles, should be harmoniously combined with a neutral background. This creates cosiness and does not overload the space.
- Details. Lighting, textiles, and fittings are the elements that add completeness to the interior. Integrate them so that they match the overall concept.
Furnishing a one-room apartment is a challenge, but with the right approach and a professional team, you can create a space where you want to live and fulfil yourself. Even the smallest details play an important role in creating an atmosphere of comfort and harmony. With us, your apartment will become a real dream come true!
