New video review: how much will a renovation cost in 2026? A real-life example of a 71 m² flat
Designer Petro Holyk, together with the GL design team, has presented a new video tour of a completed project — a modern 71 m² flat designed in a understated and functional Scandinavian style. The project was carried out on a turnkey basis for a young couple, creating a harmonious space that combines aesthetics, practicality and the comfort of everyday life.
The layout includes a spacious kitchen-living room, a separate bedroom, a bathroom and a hallway. The centrepiece of the flat is a large open-plan space, which is informally divided into two functional areas by a glass partition: a kitchen with access to a balcony and a living room with a dedicated workspace. This solution preserves the sense of open space and light, whilst ensuring practical zoning and comfort in everyday use.
The bedroom is finished in a calm colour palette with an emphasis on natural materials, complemented by rattan inserts on the wardrobe fronts and a cosy window seat for relaxation. The bathroom combines wood textures, green tones and tiles with a graphic pattern, which supports the overall interior style. The entire space is unified by natural shades — green, blue and warm wooden textures.
The video provides a detailed look at the renovation results, featuring current 2026 prices and key solutions you can apply to your own interior. It’s not just about aesthetics, but also about real-life experience.
